Overview
Piterak® XS is an economical 18mm thick, double-skin terracotta rainscreen cladding system with overlapping horizontal reveals. The product is a thin, lightweight, and strong medium module terracotta panel available in a variety of standard sizes and a multitude of made-to-order sizes with a maximum height of 1’-4” and maximum length of 5’-0”. Panels are furnished in lengths required for your project or they may be cut by the installation contractor for specific field conditions.
Piterak® XS maintains excellent structural load performance that is comparable to thicker terracotta panels while providing a slender, double-skin profile. Through exceptional engineering and manufacturing, the Piterak® XS system maintains a high wind and impact resistance rating.
The terracotta cladding panels are supported by our engineered rainscreen support framing system and stainless-steel installation clips. Piterak® XS is a terracotta cladding system that provides structural versatility and superior aesthetics in an economically superior rainscreen solution.

- Customization with respect to color, texture, and profile available depending on order size and current plant production volumes
- Very strong and excellent impact resistance even at a thickness of just .71″
- Competitively priced for quantities over 5,000 SF due to its optimized manufacturing process and modern production equipment
- Framing systems available for all types of wall construction including framed walls, hard walls, walls with and without exterior insulation, walls with continuous insulation needs, etc.
- Attachment clips are friction fit stainless steel designed to prevent the need for gaskets and joint spacers
- Complete framing system and design can be supplied by Terreal North America
- System wind load testing, impact testing, and ASTM performance testing all available

Installation

Colors & Finishes
Piterak® XS terracotta panels are available in a variety of through-body colors, as well as glazed finishes. Terreal North America can develop custom colors with through-body terracotta or matte, semi-gloss, gloss, or metallic glaze applications.
